Blood Pressure Clinics

Blood pressure is the pressure exerted by circulating blood on the walls of blood vessels, and constitutes one of the principal vital signs.  High blood pressure is a serious condition that can lead to coronary heart disease, heart failure, stroke, kidney failure, and other health problems.  This is why knowing your blood pressure numbers is important, even when you’re feeling fine.  If your blood pressure is normal, you can work with your health care team to keep it that way.  If your blood pressure is too high, you need treatment to prevent damage to your body’s organs.

Valley County Health System Home Health offers blood pressure clinics in Ord and 13 surrounding communities each month.  For more information, call 308.728.4355.
