Gold Star Award
Mark Deaton started the Respiratory Therapy Department at Valley County Hospital 25 years ago. Since then, he has worked at many other hospitals, including Minneapolis Children’s Hospital. We are very fortunate that he has returned to VCHS. Since we have hired Mark, he has taken the bull by the horns and suggested several new process changes that needed to be implemented. In addition, he has also tackled the annual FIT testing for our associates. He is a self-starter and his positive attitude in the midst of a stressful situation is admirable! Thanks Mark for all that you are doing and have already done for VCHS…we are glad to have you back after all this time!
Congratulations Mark, you are a Gold Shining Star!
