Valley County Health System’s Acute Care Unit is a 16-bed Critical Access Hospital.
Experienced, Compassionate Staff
Our Acute Care Unit is staffed by a team of caring, professional medical providers and staff. Each of our registered nurses are ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing for Critical Care) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Certified. They also have completed training in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program). Each licensed practical nurse and paramedic has gone through this training process as well.
Gold Star Award
Regardless of the day, Nicole never waivers! She steps up and is always willing to help out both the Specialty Clinic and Medical Clinic if called upon. Although Nicole’s office is across the hallway and surrounded by Administrative and IT, she is always willing to lend help to take care of patients. “No” is not in Nicole’s vocabulary when it comes to helping out the team across the hallway. Nicole exemplifies integrity by always being professional in her patient care. She is VERY compassionate to all of her patients. She has an extra personal “touch” of TLC towards the patients she deals with. She always shows ownership for her work and won’t rest until the job is done and done right! She is very respectful to her patients, her co-workers and to the providers she works along side. Last but not least, she is very trustworthy! She is fair and truthful in all she does. Nicole’s willingness to help should be modeled by everyone at VCHS, and we are glad she is on our team!
Congratulations, Nicole! You are a Gold Shining Star!!
