3 VCHS Employees Honored at NHA Caring Kind Luncheon
Omaha - Chelle Green, Tracy Reiner and Tanya Erickson, employees at Valley County Health System were honored at the Nebraska Hospital Association's Caring Kind Luncheon on October 21st. The luncheon, held during the NHA Annual Convention was held at the Embassy Suites in La Vista with more than 500 people in attendance.
Green, a Scheduler in Patient Access at VCHS, received the Caring Kind Award. Each year, Valley County Health System nominates their Employee of the Year for this honor. Green has worked at VCHS since October 20, 2008.
Reiner, a Pharmacist & Erickson, a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long Term Care at VCHS, graduated from the NHA's Leadership Institute. The NHA Leadership Institute is a nine-month curriculum that provides up-and-coming leaders healthcare organizations the necessary skills to become exceptional leaders.
The NHA has 85 member hospitals and each year these hospitals recognize their finest employees at this annual celebration of caring.
