Auxiliary Celebrates $100,000 in Donations to VCHS
Since the Valley County Health System Auxiliary opened the Second Hand Rose Thrift Shop in 2005, their contributions to VCHS have totaled $100,027! Contributions have been used to purchase new equipment for 17 different departments within Valley County Health System. A total of 63 separate donations have been made by the Auxiliary during this timeframe.
The Auxiliary is an organization operated solely by volunteers. The Second Hand Rose is open Tuesday through Friday each week from 9 am - 5 pm. It is located at 1537 M Street in Ord. They are hosting an open house celebration this week in honor of donating $100,000. Stop by for some cookies and coffee in celebration this Tues May 3 - Fri. May 6 during the hours of 9 am - 5 pm.
