Benson Completes Chemo Training Course

Janice Benson, Specialty Clinic RN at Valley County Health System, recently completed a two-day training course sponsored by Great Plains Regional Medical Center.  The course, titled Chemotherapy and Biotherapy, was developed by the Oncology Nursing Society.  During the course, participants are provided with a comprehensive review of the knowledge needed to administer cytotoxic and biotherapeutic agents.  The course is required every two years.
