Burwell Clinic Moving to New Location

Burwell - The Valley County Health System Medical Clinic in Burwell will have a new home this fall.  The Medical Clinic is currently located within the Community Memorial Health Center building, however, VCHS was notified that the lease will be terminated due to new need for space by CMHC.

The new VCHS Medical Clinic will be attached to the current VCHS Rehabilitation Center at 150 North 9th Avenue in Burwell.  The clinic will be newly constructed this summer and will consist of 3 exam rooms, a procedure room, lab and x-ray. 

Bill Klimek of R&B Enterprises, the general contractor for the project, said that he and his son Ryan are pleased to be working again with Valley County Health System to create new infrastructure to enhance the delivery of health care to the area's residents.  "This new phase of development will involve the addition of a medical clinic to the east side of the existing VCHS Rehabilitation Center.  It should be the perfect complement to an already successful expansion for VCHS," stated Bill.

Jeff Breitkreutz, PA-C and Jennifer Bengston, MD see patients at the Burwell clinic Monday, Tuesday and Thursday of each week.  Future plans are to expand clinic hours to four days per week with the addition of Daniel Schneider, MD. 

Breitkreutz stated, "I am pleased that the VCHS Medical Clinic in Burwell will be continuing to provide medical care to those in the Burwell area.  I am also happy that we will be expanding our clinic hours to meet the needs of our patients."
