CEO Search Update
The VCHS Board of Trustees is in the final stages of defining the role, qualities and qualifications of a new CEO. As reported previously, BryanLGH Health System has been retained to assist VCHS in the recruitment efforts.
The recruiters from BryanLGH will be at VCHS on March 8th for a meeting to finalize the process and prepare for the interviews. The Board has developed the interview process and each candidate will interview for an entire day. Those included will be the board and employees. Activities and tours will be available to the applicants' family the day of the interview.
The recruiters will preliminarily interview several candidates and will recommend three finalists for interviews at VCHS between March 14 and 25. As of February 24th, a total of twenty-four candidates had applied for the position.
There is a possibility that an offer will be extended to a candidate by the end of March with placement at VCHS within 4-8 weeks after the offer, depending on their current situation.
