Dr. Dan Schneider to Join VCHS
Valley County Health System is pleased to announce the addition of Daniel Schneider, M.D. to its medical staff. Dr. Schneider will begin his practice in August 2011 at the VCHS Medical Clinics.
Schneider grew up in Taylor, Nebraska and graduated from Loup County High School in 1999. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Doane College in 2003 and his Doctor of Medicine in 2008 from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. Dr. Schneider is currently completing his residency in Family Medicine at Lincoln Family Medicine Program in Lincoln, NE. His interests are in pediatrics, sports medicine and endoscopy.
Dr. Schneider will move to Ord with his wife, Natalie. She works in the field of statistics. Natalie competes in wheelchair basketball and has been selected to play on the U.S. national team several times. Both are avid sports fans and enjoy traveling. Dr. Schneider stated, "Natalie and I are very excited to get started living and working in Ord. We are looking forward to getting involved in the community and enjoying all the advantages of living in rural Nebraska."
