Dr. Schneider Attends Pediatric Conference
Dr. Daniel Schneider recently attended the 4th Annual Upper Midwest Regional Pediatrics Conference in South Sioux City, NE, October 27-28, 2011.
The UMRPC is a two-day series of seminars focusing on the continuum of care for infants and children with a variety of common medical problems. The conference provided lectures and discussion forums on a variety of relevant topics ranging from Tonsillectomy & Adenoidectomy, indications for surgery, complications of ENT surgeries, antibiotic stewardship, pediatric airway challenges , chronic cough, neonatal sepsis, drowning prevention, intestinal rehabilitation and liver and small bowel transplant, the use of Probiotics in the hospitalized pediatric patient, cardiac arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death in children, advances in nontraditional cardiac surgery , murmurs and other reasons to refer to pediatric cardiology and management of the diabetic child.
