Roy Farrens Hired as Manager of Nutritional Services

Roy Farrens of Elyria has been hired as the Manager of Nutritional Services at Valley County Health System. He will be responsible for menu creation and overseeing meal preparation for the nursing home and acute wing as well as the cafeteria and on-site catering.

Roy is a Certified Executive Chef through the American Culinary Federation and has more than 25 years of experience in food management. He is married to Lisa. Together they own Elyria Canning Company and Elyria Gardens. Roy will begin working for Valley County Health System on August 3.
