Goble & Nabity Ending ENT Clinic at VCHS
Ord - Valley
County Health System (VCHS) regrets to announce that Drs. Nabity and Goble have
given us notice that as of May 27th, 2011, they will no longer be
able to provide Ear, Nose, and Throat specialty care to our area. Dr.
Nabity advised they will be closing all of their outreach clinics due to the
need to cover their Grand Island office, and the inability at this time to
obtain the services of additional ENT Physicians.
Dr. Nabity and Dr. Goble have provided an outreach clinic to VCHS for the past 22 years. We wish to thank them for their dedication in making these services available in our community. They have brought help to many people in this area, and have been good partners with our providers and with VCHS over the years.
V
CHS
is actively trying to recruit a new ENT specialist who can make visits to our
community. We have been advised the availability of ENT physicians to
cover primary clinics and outreach clinics is limited. For several years,
it has been difficult to recruit new ENT physicians to practices in the rural
Nebraska areas. VCHS will continue to pursue all opportunities to bring
ENT specialists back into our community.
