Home Health & Hospice Donate 400+ Pounds of Food
The Home Health & Hospice Department at Valley County Health System held their annual Holiday Happenings Open House on Tuesday, November 16th. The event is held to celebrate Home Health & Hospice Month. Those who attended were encouraged to bring food items for the Ord Food Pantry. Those who brought food were entered into a drawing for $25 gift certificates to AJ's Meat Market, Ord Grocery Kart, Speed's Apple Market and Ord Locker. The winners of the drawing were: Theresa Lane, Piper Shepard, Linda Hruza and Pauline Baldwin.
A total of 412 pounds of food was donated to the food pantry from this event. The Home Health & Hospice staff would like to thank the employees and members of the public who attended for their donation of food items.
