Federal Survey Finds VCHS Home Health Deficiency-Free
Valley County Health System Home Health completed a federal Medicare Recertification survey on March 20th. The surveyor spent four days reviewing patient and employee files and visiting patients’ homes with nurses, aides, and physical and occupational therapists.
The final survey report showed VCHS Home Health to be deficiency free and indicated compliance with the Medicare Conditions of Participation for Home Health Agencies. Based on the reviews, the survey summary indicated that VCHS Home Health provides care that promotes a high potential for reaching the highest attainable levels of functioning for its patients. There was no evidence of need for a follow-up.
