McIlravy Named Employee of the Year

ORD - Joanie McIlravy has been named Employee of the Year at Valley County Health System.  Joanie was selected as Employee of the Quarter at Valley County Health System in October 2009 by fellow employees. She received the Employee of the Year award from among three other qualified candidates who were also named Employees of the Quarter during the year.  Joanie was also nominated for the Nebraska Hospital Association's Caring Kind Award.  She will be attending the Caring Kind Luncheon in Lincoln on October 29th.

When McIlravy was named Employee of the Quarter, one of her co-workers had this to say about her, "I could use a million words to describe this wonderful lady.  Everything about her is positive.   Every time I see her I always have a smile on my face because she makes people happy by always smiling at them first.  They way she stays so optimistic and always stays on task while working is so awesome.  She goes above and beyond with the great respect she has for each and every individual she comes face to face with."

McIlravy is a Materials Management Technician in the Materials Management Department.  She has worked at VCHS since November 1, 1978.
