Moninger Attends Mammography Training

Pam Moninger, Registered Technologist in Radiography and Computed Tomography, RT (R) (CT) at Valley County Health System, attended the Medical Technology Management Institute's 40 hour course on Comprehensive Mammography in Las Vegas March 1-5. Course content included digital mammography training, pathology, image evaluation, anatomy, positioning, quality control and interventional procedures.
Valley County Health System now has two mammography technicians. This training prepared us for the proper use of our new digital mammography unit that will be placed in the new hospital.
