New Facility Update #34 - FINAL

During the weeks of August 30 and September 6, the new hospital project continued to approach final completion. The final shipments of furniture were delivered and the trim out continued in waiting rooms.  The chapel fiber panels were completed and the MRI and CT lighting was finished.  The digital mammography and DXA (bone density) scan equipment was delivered and set up. 

Over the next and final week of construction, the final wall coverings will be hung and the rest of the furniture and equipment will be installed.   Interior signage will be installed and the stained glass in the chapel will be hung.  Final clean-up will continue in the remainder of the building.

The opening date for the new hospital will be Monday, October 4, 2010.  A dedication ceremony and public open house will be held on Sunday, September 26th from 1-4 pm.  Parking for the public will be available in the north and south parking lots of the new hospital as well as at Ord Family Health Center and the Heritage building.  For more information contact the Public Relations office at 728-4347.
