New Facility Update #9
During the weeks of September 7 and 14, the brick masons completed work on the exterior of the medical clinic, specialty clinic and radiology departments. Stone work began on the exterior walls of the chapel. Interior stud work was finished in the medical clinic, specialty clinic and radiology departments. The roof was completed above all departments with the exception of rehabilitation services, dietary and administration. The roof installation above these areas will begin next week.
Duct work, medical gas, fire sprinkler electrical and plumbing rough-in work continued inside the building. Sheetrock and taping was completed in the maintenance department. Painting of that department will begin shortly so that equipment pads will be able to be poured.
Exterior windows and doors have been measured up and will be installed this fall. The skylights will be installed this week. The six roof top HVAC units will be delivered this week. Paving at the front entrance to the building will take place this week.
The project remains ahead of schedule and will be completed by September 2010. For more information contact the Public Relations office at 728-4347.
