Wheeler Completes Clinical Instructor Credentialing
Betty Wheeler, Physical Therapist at Valley County Health System, completed the Clinical Instructor and Credentialing Program on April 8 and 9 in North Platte. The program is sponsored by the NE Physical Therapy Association.
The program addresses issues of planning and preparing for physical therapy students during their clinical education experiences. Valley County Health System participates in the physical therapy student rotations with UNL and Creighton each year. Betty's training will now allow students to work under her supervision at the VCHS Rehabilitation Center in Burwell.
Betty graduated from Central Michigan University in 2004 with a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy. She has been practicing at the VCHS Rehabilitation Center in Burwell since October of 2008.
