"On February 17, 2011 I was admitted to Valley County Health System to have a total right knee replacement performed by Dr. Lesiak. I was admitted at 5:30 am and taken immediately to pre-op.
After post-op recovery I was transferred to Acute Care where I got professional care from the RN's, LPN's and the rest of the staff. If you pushed the nurses call button someone would be there in 10 seconds or less. What a joy it was to have the staff in Acute Care take care of me.
I was in the hospital three days and then in swing bed for nine days. In those days I never got a bad meal. All of the meals that they served, I would rate a 9.99 on a scale of 10. The quality just cannot be beat.
I had Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy and I'm still under their care. They are doing just a super job at rehabilitating my right knee.
I cannot express in words what a wonderful hospital and staff we have here in Ord, Nebraska."

Special thanks to the Business Office Department for their help in the semi-annual VCHS trash pick-up. On Tuesday April 17th, 2012 seven of their employees and three other colleagues from VCHS successfully picked up the trash along Hwy 11 from the Ord Golf Course to past the airport. This is the second time an individual department has volunteered to do this and it is greatly appreciated! Thanks to all those who participated!
