Connie Felt, VCHS Hospice volunteer, earns statewide recognition

ORD, Neb. – Connie Felt of Ord, Neb., a volunteer for Valley County Health System (VCHS) Hospice, was honored as an exemplary volunteer at the annual Nebraska Hospice and Palliative Care Association (NHPCA) banquet on March 20 in Lincoln, Neb. Each year, NHPCA recognizes volunteers who provided outstanding volunteer services during the previous year at a Nebraska hospice agency.

“Connie volunteered over 60 hours of her time last year,” VCHS Hospice Volunteer Coordinator Jennifer Zach said. “Connie is always willing to take the time to provide much needed support, care and compassion to patients and families during the patient’s final days.”

Connie is one of dozens of VCHS Hospice volunteers; they have donated countless hours to volunteering with the Hospice program.
