Morse receives VCHS Manager Leadership Award

ORD, Neb. – Kate Morse, RN, was recently awarded with the Valley County Health System Manager Leadership Award. This is a bi-annual award given to a VCHS manager by the senior leadership team. VCHS CEO Nancy Glaubke presented the award to Morse during the monthly management team meeting on July 18.

Morse’s nomination read:

“Whatever Kate does she puts her heart into it, from taking the lead in the annual Healthstream training, flu vaccines, reviewing the measles epidemic, or assisting in OR.  When she is educating us on a subject, we listen.  Kate strives to be a resource for everyone at VCHS and she is always willing to look into issues, find more information, and give her recommendations on infection control, education or surgery. 

She is always very thorough and takes great ownership in everything she does.  We are very lucky to have Kate on the VCHS team.” 

Morse has been with VCHS since 2014.
