Hain receives VCHS Manager Leadership Award

ORD, Neb. – Noel Hain, MT, and VCHS Medical was recently awarded with the VCHS Manager Leadership Award. This is a bi-annual award given to a VCHS manager by the senior leadership team. VCHS CEO Nancy Glaubke presented the award to Hain during the monthly management team meeting on Apr. 19 at VCHS.

Hain’s nomination read:

"Noel leads a team of prefessionals that take the mission of VCHS to heart.  The Lab department at VCHS strives to provide the best quality care using progressive equipment and techniques.  Under Noel's leadership, we have seen the lab expand its' services and equipment to include Procalcitonin testing and more sensitive influenza and RSV quick tests.  The lab staff has assisted in expanding our benefit of offering employee labs from once a year to twice per year.  Most recently, he applied for and will receive funds through the Nebraska Worker training grant to become an in-house trainer for lab staff needing certification and recertification for DOT breath alcohol and urine drug collection.  Noel continues to look for ways to improve lab services; best utilize staffing; and is diligent at following up with anything that is assigned to him.

He serves on the facility-wide CARES committee, promoting customer service as a priority.  He is thoughtful; fair and always open to new ideas.  Thank you for the time and talents you share with us.  This recognition is meant to tell you how much we appreciate all you do for your co-workers; the lab; and for VCHS."

Noel has been with VCHS since 2012 and the Lab Manager since 2016.
