Ingram Named VCHS Employee of the Quarter

ORD, Neb. – Sara Ingram has been named the Valley County Health System (VCHS) Employee of the Quarter. Ingram, manager of the VCHS Health Information Management Department, was nominated by a coworker for exemplifying the VCHS values of integrity, compassion, ownership, respect and trust. VCHS CEO Nancy Glaubke presented the award to Ingram during a reception with coworkers and family on Oct. 18 at VCHS.

Ingram’s nomination read:

“Integrity – If Sara questions anything, she makes sure she is following all rules and regulations before acting.

Compassion – Sara provides a very understanding and compassionate office, when any of us have a family emergency come up.  She is always ready to help in whatever way she can. She goes out of her way to give balloons, flowers, cards, etc.

Ownership – Sara is seriously a problem solver. I always see her running around to get problems solved. She makes sure all corners are covered.

Respect – Sara always is respectful. She is respectful to anyone in the office, passing through or on phone calls, and she is very respectful to patients.

Trust – As Sara’s coworker, she provides a trusting environment. We trust her with our questions, and we trust that she always does her research on any topic.”

With this recognition, Ingram will also be considered for the VCHS Employee of the Year award for fiscal year 2017-2018.
