Acute Care RoomValley County Health System’s Acute Care Unit is a 16-bed Critical Access Hospital.

Experienced, Compassionate Staff

Our Acute Care Unit is staffed by a team of caring, professional medical providers and staff. Each of our registered nurses are ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing for Critical Care) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Certified. They also have completed training in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program). Each licensed practical nurse and paramedic has gone through this training process as well.

Linda Freeman and Sharon Iwanski

Linda Freeman and Sharon Iwanski have been nominated for the Gold Star Award for their hard work in preparing for ICD-10. They have spent countless hours working on necessary template updates for Practice Partner. They also designed and led a training session for the Medical Staff. They have worked extremely hard to get to this point and their efforts are greatly appreciated! Thanks, Linda and Sharon, for all you have done to prepare our clinic software and Medical Staff for this transition!
