Speech Therapy

Speech therapists are trained to diagnose and treat a variety of speech, voice, swallowing, and language disorders. We offer inpatient and outpatient speech therapy treatment to improve the qualities/mechanisms of the following:

  • Speech
  • Language - includes comprehension as well as oral, written, graphic and manual expression
  • Swallowing - this can include esophageal function for the purpose or referral to a medical professional
  • Cognitive aspects of communication including attention, memory, problem solving, and executing functions
  • Sensory awareness related to communication and swallowing

Dawn Sweesy
