Chemotherapy

Valley County Health System has three registered nurses who are trained in the infusion, side effects, and teaching of patients receiving chemotherapy.

Medication is mixed at Valley County Health System by our on-staff pharmacist. A chemotherapy team will work and stay in close contact with the oncologist for treatment objectives and goals.

Having chemotherapy treatment at Valley County Health System can save time, money, and travel. The infusion suites offer a relaxing and private environments with televisions for the patient during treatment.

Sue Diehl

Sue did a fantastic presentation to the Board and Management Team regarding what the imaging department does and how each area works.  It was informative, educational and timely.  Sue was able to take complex diagnostic scans and explain them so that each person could understand and was engaged through the entire presentation.  The variety of diagnostic scans that are available at VCHS is remarkable.  Thank you for the wonderful presentation.

Congratulations!
