Promoting community wellness is important to Valley County Health System. If you're like us, a part of your well-being is independence, mobility and staying active.
Let our transportation service assist you. From inability to drive, a vehicle in the mechanic's shop or perhaps just wanting to be a passenger rather than a driver, we are happy to serve you whenever you need to travel.
The Valley County Health System Transportation Service is here to serve you - our goal is to provide passengers a reliable means of transportation that is enjoyable and allows you to stay active.
We'll take you around Ord and the surrounding communities if a van is available.
24-hour notice is requested for all trips.
Availability is limited, so we recommend you call as soon as you are aware of your appointment.
Our service is door-to-door - from the van door to your front door. In order to maintain timely customer service, we ask that you be ready to go, at the door when we arrive. All passengers and drivers must wear a mask during transportation due to COVID.
Did you know your transportation fees may be covered? Call Health and Human Services for additional information.
Ord In-Town Rates:
Please call for out-of-town trip rates. Payment can be made to the driver or the front desk of the hospital in cash or check. Credit card payments will need to be over the phone. Punch cards are available for purchase through the hospital front desk.
The Valley County Health System Transportation Service operates Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
