Swing Bed

Valley County Health System’s Swing Bed Services are designed for the patient who is well enough to be discharged from an acute care level in the hospital, but not well enough to return home. Medicare skilled beds are available for patients who require daily skilled nursing and rehabilitation services.These services include procedures, observations, assessments, education, and rehabilitation.

Our Swing Bed Services help patients improve and return to the comfort of their own homes through physical, emotional, and social therapies.
