Weight Watchers at VCHS

Weight Watchers at VCHS is part of the well-recognized, international Weight Watchers organization, which is committed to helping individuals meet their healthy weight and lead healthful lives.

Join the welcoming, enthusiatic, and supportive local Weight Watchers group. Led by VCHS Wellness Coordinator Catie Larsen, Weight Watchers at VCHS meets every Thursday from 5-6 p.m. The meeting includes an individual weigh-in (to increase accountability and celebrate your progress) and a group educational portion, which addresses various topics such as portion control, emotional eating, etc.

Fitness Reaching Older Generations (FROG)

FROG is a free fitness program designed to help adults ages 50 and older improve their balance, mobility, and strength. The program is held every Tuesday and Friday from 9 - 10 a.m. at the VCHS Old Rehab Room, Ord. The program combines low-impact aerobics, resistance and weight training, and stretching, and participants are encouraged to exercise at their own pace. Three trained and passionate VCHS employees teach the class.

A person must be a Sterling Connection member to participate. To become a member, join the FROG program, or learn more, call Becky Ries at 308.728.4299. 

 

To Your Health Tuesday

To Your Health Tuesday is a free monthly learn and learn presentation hosted by VCHS. Topics and presenters vary month to month.
