Visitors are welcome to our facility at any time. The front doors lock at 8 p.m. However, you can visit a patient after that time by entering through the Emergency Room doors on the east side of the building. Press the red button on the wall inside the first set of doors and the nursing staff can let you in.
A peaceful, quiet environment promotes rest and healing for our patients, so quiet hour takes place daily from 1-2 p.m. in the Acute Care wing of VCHS. We encourage you to visit outside of this time. In addition to limited visitors, lights are turned down, talking in the hallway is quieted, and therapy and treatments are scheduled outside of the quiet time hour. (Patient care is not compromised during this hour if their condition so warrants.)
