Cheryl Johnson
She works well with her patients and often becomes like family to the ones who are on for an extended time. She shows compassion in all aspects of her cares.
A family who recently lost a loved one, while on home health, greatly appreciated her extra attention to working with him and expressed what a difference her care meant in his being able to stay in his own home as long as he did.
Cheryl can be trusted to notify her case managers of pertinent changes in the condition of her patients. She recently was working with a patient who complained of dizziness. She took the initiative to check their blood pressure, notified the RN, and also let the facility staff know. This patient always responds, "Cheryl's the best. Keep her around."
Cheryl has earned the respect of her fellow coworkers. She is conscientious and dependable. She has always done well with caring for hospice patients at area nursing homes, and in their own homes. She is willing to travel to whatever area where patients need seen.
In addition, she fills in at the hospital when she has extra hours available.
Congratulations Cheryl...you are a Gold Star!
