Josh Dieckmann

Josh's nomination reads:

Superhero, Superstar, MVP, Man of the Hour – those are just a few of the titles earned last week by our humble yet very talented Systems Administrator Josh Dieckmann.  The lab’s Chemistry Analyzer had been down for several days due to a weather-related part delivery delay.  After the part was finally installed the hard drive unexpectedly crashed putting the entire Chemistry Analyzer out of commission.  It would be another day or two before a new hard drive could be delivered. 

Josh came to the rescue.  He found a hard drive, completed the configuration in record time, downloaded the software, and had the machine up and running in just two hours.  By 6:00 PM the Analyzer was fully functioning which meant that lab specimens would no longer have to be couriered to a neighboring hospital in sub-zero temperatures.

This “man of the hour” was a real “superstar” that day and that’s why we’d like to recognize Josh Dieckmann with the Gold Star Award.
