Kryssiah Felton 2025
Congratulations to Kryssiah Felton for being recognized with the VCHS Gold Star Award.
Kryssiah was nominated by a patient, whose nomination read:
"I had a bill that came in which stated that a procedure I had done at VCHS was performed by a doctor that was not in-network. This was not a VCHS bill, and I knew the doctor was in my network. I was having issues getting this straight, so I turned to Kryssiah for help. Kryssiah went above and beyond to help resolve my issue, assuring me that the doctor was in my network, and in making calls for me while I was present to my insurance company, and also the billing office of the particular doctor, even offering them the correct coding numbers to get it right. Again, this was not a bill from VCHS. Instead of passing the issue off, she took the time to listen, investigate, and help guide the issue toward a resolution."
While this was a one-time event, Kryssiah is always willing to lend a hand wherever needed—whether as a coworker, on the Wellness Committee, or as part of the Staff Action Committee. Her dedication, compassion, and commitment to helping others truly exemplify the VCHS spirit.
