Nicole Huffman

Recently, Philips was here on-site changing out equipment for our heart monitor system. On the day of the install, Nicole was present and available the whole time assisting with whatever was needed, and testing as the install progressed. When some parts of the process didn't go as expected, Nicole stayed engaged in the project and kept contributing however she could. As the day went on, she continued to work with the Philips staff to make sure they had what they needed to keep things moving along. As 5 PM rolled around and everything still wasn't working as planned, Nicole didn't leave. She stayed to continue to work with the Philips team to ensure that she could help see the install through to the end, even though it meant being here until after 10 PM that day.

Nicole showed integrity by remaining attentive and engaged on the project the whole time. She demonstrated ownership by staying through and not giving up. She also embodied respect through her dedication in seeing the process through to completion, for the good of the nursing staff and ultimately our patients.

Nicole is an asset to VCHS, the IT department, and the clinical staff within the organization. We are so grateful to have her on our team!
