Oscar Ramirez-Zamora

Oscar's nomination reads:

 

Oscar does a great job in IT, but also helps elsewhere when he is needed. Oscar has been more than willing to help me when I have Spanish speaking patients call, or present to my office. I have utilized Oscar being bilingual a handful of times and the patients feel much more at ease and appreciative to be able to understand their billing issues. I had a patient present to my office, I gave Oscar a call but he was not at his desk. I reached out to Josh to see if he could help reach him. Unfortunately, Oscar was already clocked out for lunch, but stated I could call him on his personal phone to help. I called Oscar, and he helped me explain to the patient that was here how to fill out a financial assistance application. Meanwhile, we took 15min away from Oscars lunch break talking back and forth to help this patient and answer his questions.

 

Oscar also helps the clinic staff with translating for Spanish speaking families. This takes time away from his IT job, but is so helpful to the family and staff. He is always so kind and makes sure the family understands. We are very grateful for his help!
