Birkel named VCHS Employee of the Quarter

Tena Birkel, has been named the Valley County Health System (VCHS) Employee of the Quarter. Birkel was nominated by coworkers for demonstrating the VCHS values of integrity, compassion, ownership, respect and trust. VCHS CEO Nancy Glaubke presented the award to Birkel during a reception with her coworkers and family on May 22nd.

Birkel has been a VCHS employee since 2020 and works as an Insurance Biller in the Patient Financial Services Department. With this recognition, Birkel will also be considered for the VCHS Employee of the Year award for 2024.
