Bredthauer named VCHS Employee of the Year

Rhonda Bredthauer has been named the Valley County Health System (VCHS) Employee of the Year for the 2019-2020 fiscal year. Bredthauer, VCHS Nutritional Services Assistant, received the recognition because of her commitment to exemplifying the VCHS values of integrity, compassion, ownership, respect and trust and for going above and beyond in her work.

VCHS CEO Nancy Glaubke presented the award to Bredthauer at a ceremony at VCHS with coworkers, family and friends in attendance. Bredthauer was one of four VCHS Employee of the Quarter recipients during the last year, from which the VCHS Employee of the Year was voted on by VCHS employees, and Bredthauer was ultimately chosen. In addition to receiving an award and certificate, Bredthauer will represent VCHS as the Nebraska Hospital Association Caring Kind Awards recipient.

Other VCHS Employee of the Quarter award recipients for the last year included VCHS Operating Room Manager Julie Klimek, RN, Radiology Technician Amy Klein, RT (R) (CT), and VCHS Pharmacy Manager Tracy Reiner, RPh.
