Jane Meyer, APRN-NP, PMHNP, Board Certified in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing

Valley County Health System (VCHS) is pleased to announce that Jane Meyer, APRN-NP, PMHNP, passed the ANCC board exam for the Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification. 

Meyer has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2008. She joined the team of advanced practitioners at VCHS in 2018. Meyer was recently named the recipient of the Graduate Studies Tuition Aid Program Scholarship through the Nebraska Hospital Association. Meyer studied for her post-master’s certificate in the Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program (PMHNP) at Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri before passing boards in March 2021. The PMHNP program focuses on psychiatric and mental health across the lifespan, including the diagnosis, medication management, and treatment plans for various mental health illnesses.
