Novotny Earns Certification as Rural Health Clinic Professional
Valley County Health System (VCHS) Medical Clinic Director Krystal Novotny, RN, BSN, recently received her Certification as a Rural Health Clinic Professional (CRHCP). The National Association of Rural Health Clinics holds a six-week CRHCP course that focuses on the management and operation of a Rural Health Clinic.
During this six-week course, Novotny studied the rules and regulations, finances, billing and many other factors that go into running a rural health clinic. Upon completion of the course Novotny sat for an extensive proctored exam, passing and receiving her CRHCP as a result.
“Access to new knowledge is the key to providing exceptional care in our rural communities; it gives us the ability to make informed decisions, offer innovative solutions, and improve the health outcomes of those we serve.” said VCHS Medical Clinic Director Krystal Novotny, RN. “We are excited to continue offering advanced medical services in a healing patient centered environment right here in our rural communities.”
VCHS has three rural medical clinic locations including Ord, Burwell and Loup City. If you would like to schedule an appointment or learn more about the services offered call 308-728-4200.
