Physician Assistant Nicholas Reed To Join VCHS

Nicholas Reed, PA-C, will be joining Valley County Health System (VCHS) as a new primary care provider in April of 2022. Reed will primarily be seeing patients at the VCHS Medical Clinic in Loup City as well as working in the Emergency Department at the Hospital in Ord. While Reed will begin seeing patients in April, he will be starting the onboarding process with VCHS in January.

A Syracuse Nebraska native, Reed graduated from Doane College with his bachelor’s degree in 2014. Upon completion of his bachelor's degree, Reed attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center where he earned his Physician Assistant degree. Reed joined the CHI Health Good Samaritan Clinic-Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine in 2019 where he has worked as an orthopedic surgery assistant since. Reed is looking forward to transitioning into primary care and looks forward to meeting his new patients and serving a rural community.
