Physician Nathan Harms to Join VCHS Summer 2024
Nathan Harms, MD, will be joining Valley County Health System (VCHS) as a new primary care provider in August of 2024. Harms will primarily be seeing patients at the VCHS Medical Clinic in Ord as well as working in the Emergency Department at the Hospital.
A Crete Nebraska native, Harms graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with his bachelor’s degree. Upon completion of his bachelor's degree, Harms attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha where he is currently working on his residency through UNMC Rural Training Track/Primary Care which will be completed in 2024. Harms will be fully equipped to provide primary and emergency care services but is also specialized in men’s health, sports medicine, and chronic disease management.
Harms enjoys hiking, fishing, hunting, golfing, and spending time with family. VCHS looks forward to having Dr. Harms and his wife Mallory join the Ord community along with their seven-month-old daughter Adalyn next summer.
