Swett, RN, named VCHS Employee of the Year

ORD, Neb. – Cheryl Swett, RN, has been named the Valley County Health System (VCHS) Employee of the Year for the 2018-2019 fiscal year. Swett, an RN in Acute Care at VCHS, received the recognition because of her commitment to exemplifying the VCHS values of integrity, compassion, ownership, respect and trust and for going above and beyond in her work.

VCHS CEO Nancy Glaubke presented the award to Swett at a ceremony at VCHS with coworkers, family and friends in attendance. Swett was one of four VCHS Employee of the Quarter recipients during the last year, from which the VCHS Employee of the Year was voted on by VCHS employees, and Cheryl was ultimately chosen. In addition to receiving an award and certificate, Swett will represent VCHS at the Nebraska Hospital Association Caring Kind Awards Luncheon in La Vista, Neb, in October.

Other VCHS Employee of the Quarter award recipients for the last year included Environmental Services Assistant Wayne Standlea, Home Health Nurse Cheri Miley, and Accounts Payable and Payroll Clerk Randi Wiese.
