VCHS Celebrates Nebraska Public Transit Week

The Valley County Health System (VCHS) Transportation Department celebrates Nebraska Public Transit Awareness week April 6 – 10.

Nebraska Public Transit Week is a celebration and promotion of public transportation statewide. It is a time for all Nebraskans to show support for their local transit system.  VCHS Public Transit will provide transportation to anyone over the age of 19 to anywhere you need to go. Our vehicles are handicap accessible.   Is your car broke down?  Do you need a ride to the eye doctor?  Are you worried that your car won’t make it to your out of town appointment? We are here for you!   “Our goal is to provide passengers a reliable means of transportation that is enjoyable and allows you to stay active,” VCHS Business Office and Transportation Manager Stephanie Copp said.  “Promoting wellness, independence and mobility is important to us.”

For more information about Nebraska Public Transit Week, VCHS Transportation or to schedule a ride please call 308.728.4200.
