VCHS Celebrates Nebraska Public Transit Week

ORD, Neb. – The Valley County Health System (VCHS) Transportation Department celebrates Nebraska Public Transit Awareness Week April 10 – 14. VCHS Public Transportation will offer numerous promotions to community members and riders for the week.

April 10-14: Veterans Free Ride Voucher: Area veterans who use (purchase) VCHS Public Transportation from April 10-14 will receive a voucher (to be used at a later date) for a free in-town ride. Veterans may receive this voucher from their driver following their paid ride.

April 10-14: Spot the Bus Facebook Photo Contest: See a VCHS Public Transportation bus or van out and about in the community? Post a photo to the VCHS Facebook page from April 10 through April 14, get an approval message/comment from VCHS, and win some exciting Nebraska Public Transit Week prizes. Prizes will be available at the VCHS hospital front lobby and will be given while supplies last.      

VCHS Public Transportation employees will also make stops at various businesses and organizations throughout the week to thank them for their continued support.
