VCHS Deficiency Free in State Survey
Valley County Health System (VCHS) recently received confirmation that the hospital was deficiency free in Federal, State and Emergency Preparedness categories during their licensure survey conducted by the State of Nebraska Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS).
In a letter dated June 13th, 2023, VCHS was notified of compliance with the federal regulations pertaining to critical access hospitals. The surveys are unannounced and conducted by surveyors onsite for approximately a week.
VCHS received this same acknowledgment during the last licensure survey in 2019, a difficult achievement and demonstration of VCHS’ commitment to high-quality healthcare.
“This accomplishment is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire healthcare team,” VCHS CEO Nancy Glaubke said. “We commend our staff for the compassion and dedication they give to our patients and our community.”
