VCHS Laboratory Deficiency Free In Recent CLIA Survey
Valley County Health System (VCHS) Laboratory was deficiency free in their recent Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) Survey.
The CLIA program ensures the quality and accuracy of patient test results by certifying, inspecting, and monitoring clinical laboratories. To guarantee reliable and timely test results, laboratories must comply with strict federal regulations. Once a laboratory meets all CLIA requirements, it receives a certificate and undergoes routine inspections every two years.
The VCHS Laboratory successfully passed its CLIA inspection conducted by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) on July 24, 2024. This achievement demonstrates their commitment to providing high quality healthcare close to home.
