VCHS Medical Clinic To Add Mental Health Services
Valley County Health System (VCHS) is proud to announce the addition of mental health services at the VCHS Medical Clinic in Ord. Jane Meyer, APRN-NP, PMHNP, and Kyla Conway, LIMHP, have partnered with the VCHS team to provide compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals seeking support for a variety of mental health challenges.
Jane Meyer, APRN-NP, PMHNP, a mental health nurse practitioner, will offer medication management services for patients at VCHS. Meyer’s role will focus on prescribing and monitoring psychiatric medications to ensure patients receive the appropriate treatment. Meyers does not provide counselling services.
Kyla Conway, LIMHP, a mental health therapist and Director of the VCHS Heritage Program for Seniors, will now provide therapy services for patients in the VCHS Medical Clinic. Her expertise will support individuals seeking professional guidance for mental and emotional well-being. While she will not provide medication management, Conway’s services will be a valuable resource for those in need of counseling support who may not qualify outside of the clinic setting.
“At Valley County Health System, we are committed to addressing the whole person’s health and mental health is a crucial component,” said CEO Ashley Woodward. “We are thrilled to welcome Meyer and Conway as we expand our services to better meet the needs of our community.”
