VCHS to celebrate Nebraska Public Transit Week

ORD, Neb. – The Valley County Health System (VCHS) Transportation Department celebrates Nebraska Public Transit Awareness week April 8 – 12.   VCHS Public Transportation will be offering one free in-town ride to riders for the week. 

Nebraska Public Transit Week is an opportunity for all Nebraskans to show support for their local transit system and to experience the benefits of public transportation for themselves.  “Our goal is to provide passengers a reliable means of transportation that is enjoyable and allows you to stay active,” VCHS Business Office and Transportation Manager Stephanie Copp said.  “Promoting wellness, independence and mobility is important to us.”
