Auxiliary
The Valley County Health System Auxiliary works to benefit VCHS. The group meets the first Monday of every month at VCHS in Ord, and their primary project is The Second Hand Rose Thrift Store and Boutique.
The Second Hand Rose
The Second Hand Rose is a thrift shop located in downtown Ord that is operated by the Valley County Health System Auxiliary. Since opening in 2005, the VCHS Auxiliary has donated more than $435,000 worth of updated equipment and software to VCHS through Second Hand Rose proceeds. Check out the donations here.
The store is staffed completely by Auxiliary volunteers and is open six days per week.
Monday - Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
